Children's Ministry

    In order to accomplish our goal of

    training up a generation radically transformed by the GOSPEL,

    we commit to:

    1. Keep the GOSPEL central in all our teaching, ensuring that all curricula used is biblically sound and God centered.
    2. Ensure that all Children's Ministry teachers and small group leaders are committed, growing Christ followers who model and teach a God-centered lifestyle.
    3. Place children into small groups that encourage them to live in COMMUNITY with others who are learning about a God-centered life.
    4. Encourage children to develop regular habits of Bible study, prayer, and scripture memorization.
    5. Provide opportunities for children to engage in MISSION work for sharing God's love with others, both locally and globally.

    We also recognize that God has given the primary responsibility for training children in the teachings of the GOSPEL to parents. As such, we actively seek to train and equip parents to better engage in this task through periodic classes, resources and discussion groups.

    "Hear O Israel: The LORD  our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." Deuteronomy 6:4-9

    Yearly Children's Ministry Registration

    Each September we require that every family completes a new Children's Ministry Registration Form.  It is important that we keep updated records.  Thank you for your willingness to complete this online form.
    Children's Ministry Classes:
    • Nursery (0 - 3 yrs)
    • JK - Gr. 2* 
    • Gr. 3 - 5
    • Junior High
    *Children up to Grade 2 are to be signed in and out by their parent/guardian.
    Children experience a time of age-appropriate teaching designed to encourage them to learn more about our awesome God.  Also, to build relationships with kids their age, and with the caring team of teachers and helpers.

    Children's ministries is able to impact the lives of many children and families through the dedicated efforts of a large team of gifted volunteers.     Family Dedication
    CBC supports families as they take on their God-given role of teaching their child to know the Gospel and to understand how it changes their heart and life. One way we support parents is through the celebration of Family Dedication. If you would like to publicly dedicate yourself to follow God's guidance in your child's upbringing, please email don@communitybible.ca
