We are excited to offer a multi-sport day camp this summer for kids of all ability levels! The Lucan Sports Camp will run from August 21 to 25 from 9am to 3pm at the Lucan Community Centre (263 Main St, Lucan). Children from age 6 to 12 will have fun as they develop skills in soccer, ball hockey, and basketball. Campers rotate between the 3 sports, where they learn a new skill everyday. Skills are reinforced by drills, then games that highlight the new skill, and finish with a scrimmage.
During our daily "team talks", kids will learn from the Bible as we discover who Jesus is and how to have a relationship with Him. Children will be recognized for showing a good attitude, concentration and effort.
Each day camp ends with a classic big game the whole camp is sure to enjoy.
Camp is all about having fun, learning core sport skills, making new friends and growing in faith.
Each Camper will receive a t-shirt, refillable water bottle, New Testament Bible and Camper Playbook.
Please bring a packed lunch each day. Snacks will be provided.
Cost: $100 per child. Family rate: $75 per child (ie $75 x 2 children = $150). We desire camp to be available to all regardless of financial situation: scholarships are available (please contact Don Hiscox at don@communitybible.ca).
